What a fantastic selection of releases from Japan. Blimey didn't they get it big time ?

 

Is there a thread anywhere, [ don't want to be an arse and clutter up a sales thread ] as to why , specifically, Japan / Japanese record Cos embraced this so enthusiastically ??

I totally agree and it is an interesting question as to why they have totally embraced this type of soul music. I remember getting the 6 Volumes of Hi Records in the 80s and this did not include any Al Green or Ann Peebles !!!!
