I have just seen an excellent condition of the lp Wigan casino chapter 3 on vinyl, at a car boot fair it was on the casino classics label and was 3 pound went back to get it and the seller had gone. Was it worth it this cheap?

That's why I never bought it citizen p. But for 3 quid I nearly did or there was a major lance hits lp for 4 quid. The seller had gone when I returned

You missed a bargain. Mostly good tracks. An LP like this back in the 70's was a real treat. The better tunes still hold a certain quality and are well worth a listen. Forgot I had a copy but have just pulled it off the shelf to not even recognise it so it could be scarcer than the previous two volumes.

or lucky escape  :wicked:

Tams - Hey Gir lDon't Bother Me,

Ramsey Lewis - WITW,

Playthings - Stop What You're Doing To Me

Jackie Trent - Send Her Away

Len Barry - I Struck It Rich

Jason Knight - Our Love Is getting Stronger

Al Wilson - T' Snake

Tammy St John - Nobody Knows What's Going On

Javells - Goodby Nothin To Say

Lorraine Silver - I Know That You'll Be There

Family Affair - Love Hustle

Playthings - Surrounded By A Ray Of Sunshine

The Tops - Lovers Concerto

O'Kaysions - Girl Watcher

Just put it on and the Mrs and her Sister are lovin' it, apparently, better than the crap I usually play?

Forgot what was on that. Having been reminded I have to agree with Arthur - a lucky escape.

And what are you usually playing?   :wicked:

Probably the start of another thread but I remember the first time I played Masqueraders - How Big Is Big, they were hysterical, "wtf is this, ha ha, they don't honestly play this do they?"

If you can be arsed getting up at Sparrowfart to go to a car-boot, I'd reckon £3:00 was worth a risk !

If you like the look of something at a car-boot , buy it. Got some great buys on a whim.

Might be still there next week.

Off topic but

Best buy for me was a manfrotto pro tripod and three way pan and tilt head £10 over £200 New.

Back on topic I didn't know there was a volume three

I've only been to one car boot, me being an 'afternoon person' to say the least,  I arrived at 11:30 am to find a muddy field and a hot dog stand.

I would have spent my pocket money on Major Lance.

I don't remember this being played "Lorraine Silver - I Know That You'll Be There" so i googled it all the way to you tube, if it was played it could have destroyed the Northern scene, dreadful is being kind to the track...........
