Nick Hackett Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Ive got the Capsoul issue, great moody 45 ....then to my disgust whats on the label..... 1970!!!!
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 ...Let's not forget that the "A" side, "Go On Fool", is a killer piece of wrist-slashing deep soul, in the mould of Toussaint McCall's "Nothing Takes The Place Of You", and easily worth a tenner on its own! TONE PS: Methinks thou hast imagined that picture sleeve, BTW. We sold loads of copies of "Go On Fool" as a new release import in "Record Corner" in 1970-1, and not one of them came in anything other than the usual gaily-coloured Avco house bag.... TONE

TONE I had a Picture Sleeve Tone - it was a European issue though. Could be that causing the confusion.

I've always imagined Marion to be a great hulk of a man, what with that very girly name and all (him and John Wayne!) TONE
Guest Dante Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Hi there, Thanks for all the info! I must admit, I haven't heard the A-side, but the flip is enough hehe I saw the p/s about a month ago, but I'm probably wrong. CHeers Dante
Agent45 Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 great record and it also shows up in a love scene montage during episode 3 (or 4?) of the US TV show "Weeds" which airs on Showtime. Season 1 is on DVD so you can rent it too.
