Morning all, recently bought one of these on 7" for a friend of mine for his Birthday as he liked it when i played it to him as it one he was not familiar with, the question is both mine and the one i gave him are blue and white labels, and looking on Musick Stack there are a few (not many) for sale and the label on one of them is pink! Now when you go to youtube to play the copy up loaded on there info on track said it was not profesionaly made available and only he (the artist) and friends had original copies, so if that is the case why 2 different colour labels as this would lead me to think a lot of these were pressed? so which was first ? by the way if you don't know the track go to youtube and have a listen or maybe someone could put a link to it on here as its a fabulous record and very cheap too ( for now ) sounds like it should be a big money job, well i think so   Rick

A great track Rick and one I first remember from Thorne in the late 80's?

Had loads and loads of the Blue/White label copies and quite a few Pink ones?

I suspect the Pink ones are the original but not 100% certain?

If anyone fancies one, I've got it ridiculously cheap here https://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Percy-Thomas-Lonely-In-A-Crowd-Hey-Love/167872128 and also here https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/Crossover_Soul.htm

Cheers

Now Then Steve, thanks for the info, doesn't realy matter which one was first issue just the simplicity and quality of the record and so cheap, was just curious thats all, and so surprised at how unknown it is and yes Thorne, Those were the days eh?, when i spin it it puts me in mind of "just can't speak" probably the backing more tha vocaly, hope a few more people become a fan of this track and buys a copy as always good to pick up a good tune without parting with lots of cash....Rick
