Perhaps a property speculator thought he was actually buying a house and felt cheated because he didn't get a cheap house in the end, just a common record...

That price is almost as.much of a shock as getting a point at Hull and scoring twice away from.home!

The Mark Williams version is even better than that. There, I said it :P

Also considerably rarer for what it's worth!

PS, this is now my copy, Thanks Mr Pinches

Now, Millie Jackson's 'My Street' on Brit is worth a shot at auction. Rarely turns up, not in the price guides and most importantly, sounds pretty good. Probably overlooked as it's by a mainstream artist. It's on You Tube but I don't know how to post a link. Check it out.

Dohhhh..apologies for confusing matters but at least we've let a good tune out of the bag.

I gave mine away a couple of years ago when it was fetching about a fiver. It wasn't worth the hassle of listing it. There were already 5 or 6 on Ebay alone!

Millie jacksons is the version cunnie mark Williams holds no punch and soul for me and will always pack a dancefloor

Millie Jackson floor packer i mean :-))(

see I think the complete opposite, the one I dont really rate is 'My Man, A Sweet Man' its ok, but very poppy really compared to her other stuff 'house for sale' especially on the Inst is quite sublime...

the Mark Williams version, dunno cant make my mind up on that, its a bit flat, lacks a bit off 'Sparkle" but I do like the horn bit,   I think the Instrumental is my favorite here, it really stands alone without a vocal...
