Bazm
Looked like two over zealous bidders falling fowl of the 'win at all costs' strategy. You makes your bid, you pays the price or not as the case may be. The seller must think it's Christmas! That's if they ever get paid ..... 1 Link to comment Social source share

nsman
The under bidder will get a second chance @ about £50 not doubt Link to comment Social source share
Bazm
The under bidder will get a second chance @ about £50 not doubt No that's the point, two bidders both thinking 'I'll put a massive bid on this to win it', so when the bids come in they actually jumped the 3rd highest bid by nearly $1000 and left each other potentially paying 7x the actual value of the record. This works if only one person does it but the minute two people do it you get this. No wonder the final price of some records on ebay seem crazy, it's just that this one is soooo obvious Link to comment Social source share

pow wow mik
Remember first hearing it late 90s and nearly buying it for 40 I think but, in the end, I didnt cos it's a fairly naff record. Love Sam dees, but with the cheesy pub-rock hook, it sounds like a cheapie to me - sounds like something that people who dont really like soul would like 3 Link to comment Social source share

Mal C
Gotta say - not Sam Dee's best work. I agree, just a basic workout really, lacks all the finesse of his other work.. I certainly wouldn't pay allot for it, is 'Easier to say than do' the flip? if it is thats a far better side to sell it from... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7DVC10Kwi0 mal:-)) Edited October 16, 2014 by Mal C Link to comment Social source share
