Guest Baz Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I've only seen (i take it because they're white) demos Usually round the £200 mark if i can remember the last few i've seen go, It might be $200 dollars though cant remember, never really take much notice of this, Simsy likes it im sure he can give you some info on it.
Mandy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Don't recall hearing the flip side played out ... but you never know ! "When I'm Gonna Find Her" - great tuuuune

Yeah would have said around £150+ dependant on condition. Top tune - big mod sound. And my alias at work!
soul45s Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 hi all, info please regards mark loyd - when im gonna find her - parlophone Russ There are some 'look a like' boots, but they were pressed with no centre, they look pretty realistic so beware if you see a bargain cheers Paul
Russoul1 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 Yeah would have said around £150+ dependant on condition. Top tune - big mod sound. And my alias at work! well according to pokesite.com theres 3 listed demos sold on auction the first sold for £200+ in 2004,£250 in 2005 and in 2006 for £377!!! but no issues, hence the questions never seen one for £150.... cheers russ
Simsy Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Wow £370! Thats excessive. I've seen a few around the £150 mark. But again dependant on condition, why I said 150+

Russoul1 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 Are we talking demos or issues now? I'm confused. question is really regards the issue mate, im with ken regards price tag
Guest Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Are we talking demos or issues now? I'm confused. Both
Simsy Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 question is really regards the issue mate, im with ken regards price tag Well I think it warrants the price tag. Crackin' tune and underplayed these days imo.
Gasher Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Ive seen just as many issues as demos so yea they exist..I think Pete Smith has had a few issues over the years and they are about the same price.Maybe demo even SLIGHTLY rarer £300 ish is a ralistic price at the moment
Guest Simon Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I sold a Demo for i believe £324 about a year ago, always believe the demos & issues to be between £300 - £400. There are re-issues out there without centres, i have one myself but it doesn't sound anywhere near as crisp as the Parlophone copies, the flip 'when evening falls' is a fairly good dancer, could easily be played at a venue. Simon
Guest just mo Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I think the first time it was played,Jim had a issue, and have seen at least two,and would have thought at least £300,for either That's right Kenny. He also had or maybe still has a demo.

First issue came from Gene back in the early 90's after I'd reviewed in Beatin Rhythm magazine to no interest whatsoever! I sold that copy for £60. About 6 years later it started getting played so I put an ad in Record Collector and got 2 more issues. I got another issue in a collection and I got the demo off Ebay for something like 18 quid, and thats when it was very well known, this would be about 4/5 years back. Not bothered since because it's too expensive but I'd have said 175 for the issue and 250 to 300 for the demo.
