Soul16 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I love Sounds Of The 60's but I enjoy Tony Blackburn's Pick Of The Pops even more - when he does a year, the first few tracks are always songs that were bubbling under and never usually get played on oldies shows. I love the Tony Blackburn show - he can be quite funny at times and often mentions Lenny Gamble. I usually listen whilst tidying the garden, it turns a chore into a happy couple of hours. The programme can sometimes stir up some vivid memories of people and places for me. In fact, it's about to start in a few minutes.
