Morning Barry. Great show, listen in most weeks, or tape it

Morning Harry - don't know a show quite like it...informative as sin too.

Anyone seen the film?

I have, it's a spy caper thing like the James Bond spoofs, there was a follow up, Dr. Goldfoot & The Girl Bombs, both available on Veehd.

I love Sounds Of The 60's but I enjoy Tony Blackburn's Pick Of The Pops even more - when he does a year, the first few tracks are always songs that were bubbling under and never usually get played on oldies shows.

I love the Tony Blackburn show - he can be quite funny at times and often mentions Lenny Gamble. I usually listen whilst tidying the garden, it turns a chore into a happy couple of hours.

The programme can sometimes stir up some vivid memories of people and places for me.

In fact, it's about to start in a few minutes.

He does play some woeful tracks as well though. Only an artists mother could love.

He does, but he has to cover the whole scope of the 60's.  My son loved something he played by Max Bygraves a while ago about ice creams

That's what I like though, it's kinda nice to be immersed in the good and the odd of the 60's for an hour or so.
