The track featured on the "Ruffin & Kendricks" RCA LP from c.1987 and I also have it on a nice Black RCA 45.

Was a real breath of fresh air 'throwback' track for old Motown fiends (such as myself) and I think it can be picked up pretty inexpensively.

I reckon I've a spare LP in the Basement, if desperate!

I picked the RCA single up in Shangri - La records in Memphis last year as this track was played at Drax a few times. What neat footwork from Mr Ruffin, if I did that knee drop now I would need two sturdy nurses (females preferred of course) to help me back to my feet.

Nice to see the track done live, congrats for digging it out for us.

I picked up my copy from the bargain bins at Cheapo Cheapo in Soho just after it had been released for 10p as Terry Jones had been playing it as a new release

If me memory serves me right there was 3 out all about the same time of new releases that I picked up. There was this one, Messing With My Mind - Clarence Carter and Loverboy - Chairmen Of The Board

just had a quick search on youtube with the name david ruffin and found quite a few vids , like aint too proud to beg ,

and also jimmy ruffin on totp2 with brokenhearted etc

is there any way of saving these vids to your pc to put onto dvd ?
