Jerry Williams Boot?

Recommended Posts

to be 100% this is NOT a boot but a bona fide 1973 release. The original 1st release has the Broadway address on the label and is much rarer.

The 70's boot was on green OOTP records

Useful to know. This is a confusing one. There are at least three variations, and although I have two of them, I still don't have the original release.

Yes I have the Green OOTP one, but I thought I would look for an original release to replace it. I have read that the OOTP one is the original version with the longer break in the middle, and the re-presses were different and another press was a completly different recording. How true is this?

I think the OOTP one actually misses part of the middle break

It's the other way around.

The Original Calla (And the Spanish Exit release) both have the "shortened" break.

The 1973 reissue (And the UK Pye DD release) both have the extended break in the middle.

Never had one, but if the OOTP also has the shorter break, that simply means it was booted from an original.

I prefer the longer reissue, although the clarity of the original is a little lost. Decided years ago to keep both, as I liked aspects of each over the other.

Cheers
