Can't say I've heard the Cub spin, so will investigate. Is that the going rate then, about £100? Ta, Jamie

Same backing as Clay Hammond - Dance Little Girl on DUO DISC? Hammy

Ta, Jamie link How did you guess I wasn't a fan Personally think it's utter crap and shouldn't be allowed near a Northern room, along with most of the rock and roll and country and western music some DJ's are playing So much soul out there that could and should be played first
Guest Jamie Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Thanks guys See your point Chalky. But I'm on one big learning curve. I'm trying to keep an unbiased and open ear to all the new sounds I'm hearing. Sometimes you can hear something played out, it sounds OK, then you either get the record or a soundfile and it sounds proper shite. I think I'd have to hear it a few more times before shelling £100 on it. Just thought I'd ask around a bit as I've seen it on ebay a bit recently. Cheers, Jamie

I always want to hear summat new, good or bad. Do you want a soundfile?????

M rc link Cheers Mike, Cheers Marc, By the way Marc, is this a recent 'find' and are they from they same source? Or is it just that common there's loads about? Ta, Jamie
Chalky Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 By the way Marc, is this a recent 'find' and are they from they same source? Or is it just that common there's loads about? Ben kicking about fairly regularly for years, certainly not rarest of the rare material. Few plays bit of demand and price goes up Would agree with Marc, maybe bit more.
Marc Forrest Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 As it is often the case when quantity has been found, it gets fairly quick distributed to more then just one dealer. So it is hard to say if they all come from the same source, but at a gues I would say yes. Marc
MarkWhiteley Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 (edited) Manship's listing one for £250, although his prices are waaaaaaaaaay over the top. Seen about 6 on eBay over last couple of month, all making betweehn 150 & 250 dollars. In fact, there's one on now as we speak! You best off with the Clay Hammond track, "Dance Little Girl", uses same backing but is far, far better, and cheaper too! About £20 on Duo-Disc and £40 on Keyman. P.S. Hammy, if you get hold of Mack Starr, I'd gladly take it off your hands for £75! P.P.S. Chuck us the soundbite up Chalkster, haven't heard it the full way through!
