Popular Post Md Records Posted August 8, 2014 Popular Post Posted August 8, 2014 Appointments was on the front cover of "Shades Of Soul" in 1988, which to many of us seems like yesterday I know, and we might even class this as a "recent discovery", but a bit sobering when you think it was 26 years ago Des 5
Pete S Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Appointments not very good? Well spank me rosy, I've read it all now lol Spanking hand at the ready and looking for ward to it If it was on Ric Tic nobody would pay a fiver for it. 2
Martyn Pitt Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Spanking hand at the ready and looking for ward to it If it was on Ric Tic nobody would pay a fiver for it. I would every day of the week and twice on Sunday .... brilliant dance record.
Pete S Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I would every day of the week and twice on Sunday .... brilliant dance record. So is "YMCA" 1
Martyn Pitt Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So is "YMCA" I could never get the moves right for that one though Pete
Pete S Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I could never get the moves right for that one though Pete Nor me, no co-ordination and the wrong outfit. I'm not going to get the Appointments record, ever - I appreciate all the brilliant records that go through the JM auctions, but I don't think this is one, it doesn't hold a candle to even The Salvadors for instance...
Jordirip Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I could never get the moves right for that one though Pete I'm sure there's a dance class nearby that can help you with that. 2

Can't really compare to Salvadors Pete.Hearing that for the first time when you're 17 is life changing. The Appointments for me is great Northern and worthy of plays on today's scene. It does work on the dancefloor ,honest. 1

pow wow mik Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Spanking hand at the ready and looking for ward to it If it was on Ric Tic nobody would pay a fiver for it. You're wrong, I bet plenty of us have got similar tunes on the shelves that are only worth a fiver, I know I have. This just happens to be rare. Not northern maybe, but music lover's soul ]
Koolkat Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I cant believe that Ive never come into contact with this tune before clicking the sound file on JM site. I like to think that Iv got an ear for "Northern ". And that tune just grabbed me straight away. Love the key changes. Could do without the wailing. Love it. 1
