Okay, I suspect everyone knows, or should know about this fantastic site, but I thought having used it for a point of reference in my last post and the fact it is now in my top 3 resources when searching out info I thought it was worth a mention

Its an absolutely fantastic resource, could maybe do with some recent updates, but sure Dave will soon be back like us normal blokes spending all night in front of the computer avoiding human converstation.

There is so much information on this its scary, so no other reason other than take a bow Mr Rimmer and to bring it to attention of some people who don't know!

Don't often agree with Jocko's posts but he's right on the money with this. Just before seeing this thread I'd checked DR's site to look up Wade Flemons' discography. The work he's put into it is amazing. Thank you and well done.

Dave Rimmers and also the Sir Shambling site are constant sources of reference for me. So immensely comprehensive they demand respect.

There are also a couple of 60s garage sites (Chris Bishops for one) which although not soul focussed are extremely informative and well researched - and do provide a great reference source for soul-influenced garage bands of relevance to the northern scene.
