I am looking for stores & contacts in San Diego, LA, Santa Cruz area including San Jose, also San Francisco. I have also misplaced my contact info for Rich Rosen & Joe in Vegas, can anyone help me out with this please. Are thier any other record stores or contacts in Vegas worth checking out ???????????????. Thanks for any help...................if I can help any one out with anything while Im over there shout up. Chris Anderton Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Russ, In san Francisco head for Haight st where you will find Rockie Ricados and a whole host of other stores.....also check out the Ameba chains on the west coast especially for LPs, they get so much stuff in you could just fall lucky..... I would forget all about Rosen if i were you, his pricing method seems to be the price guide price plus the ebay price! He is a joke to be honest mate.....I was in Vegas last year and did`nt even go there.....actuall Vegas is a waste of time unless you find an individual...maybe check out record city (near the stratasphere) for some LPs.... Los Angeles is quite tough but there are some half decent shops....as i said it just depends when you get there, you might just get lucky. You could check out Bagatelle in Longbeach....but mainly well picked over.... Good luck mate.... You deserve some! Chris

Chris Your da man Chris, spoke with the guy at Ameba yesterday, I think it was a store on Sunset Blvd, sounds good anyway. Yeah, I have had some strange experiences with Rich, dont know if I can put up with his poo attitude either, so I think I'll leave that one. Just had a laugh with Jenny, cos we're stopping in the Stratosphere mate, you can imagine her face . Been working on this for awhile actually, but just hoped that people may have other info too, thank you for coming thru for me Chris..................you over for Allentown this year ???. Chris Anderton Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Hi Mate, We were all set for Allentown but i booked the wrong week off work...no probs I`ll change it.....but the allentown show falls on the same day as......STOCKTAKE! the thing by which i am ultimatly judged...taking time off is just unheard of...but I`m gonna apeal to my boss...a decent guy...see if he has a problem with it...its not gonna be easy.....! For record city go towards down the strip the Stratosphere take the last right before you get there...past McDonalds and its 100 yds on the left......i did ok there in November...LPs.... Would certainly give Richy Rosy a WIDE birth. The Guy's well overpriced and a prize asshole... especially if you spend any less than $500 with him. One time he even tried to get 'across' my girlfriend while I was in the downstairs record room (mind you, so does Tats Taylor whenever he meets her) so don't take the Mrs if you do go there. Mind you, I did some pretty good trades on the old girl! Hope you strike gold out west matey! Sean

Mind you, it is much better sound qulity than the original ashford issue!!!! Total tosser...dont even bother with him mate....wasting your time.....god knows how/if he even sells a record........ Chris ps, Record shows on west coast are good...get there early though...really early...
