HOWEVER I came across some years back and adore and love Richie's smooth Callier-esque vocals so it's a bit of a hard one really, theres no BOTH category damm you evil Mike!

Has anyone of you heard it? the story i read was that he never recorded it , read someone saying that havens must have heard it being performed live in the new york poet/folk type bars the later recordings may be due to havens performance of it at woodstock as have read people who were there later saying that performance of it was a influential moment 1

Dramatic, Soulful, perfect speed, superb production, tantalisingly short...however, it's easy availability preventing it being of that "Grail' status. Beats the sh#t out of Frank Wilson IMO. Love it. I also love..and prefer...Ritchie's version. Love the subtlety, different chord changes and like his laid back folksy delivery. Cheers! 2
