Kitty96 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 You will all probably laugh at this question and answer it straight away, but as my mam always said ; if you don't know something....ask'. So here goes.....I was listening to a digital radio station called 'seven inch soul'. I've heard this record several times before, but on most digital radio stations, there are no dj's to tell you who the artist is. Anyhow, it sounds a bit 70's modern soul/Philly sound. It starts off with a guy talking and then the music starts to build up and then he sings some lyrics 'Mother, father, sister, brother. I have tried to check out lyrics on google but have drawn a blank. Every time I type in Mother Father etc it runs off with MFSB which are mainly instrumentals. Went in Beatin Rythm today and asked....they couldn't help. So I am at a loss....can anyone help?
Dave2 Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I immediately thought Marvin Gaye, which is a much better record! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inFDgCSGWDs
