Hear Wildflower - Wind It Up, Turn It Loose/Sugar Baby (Dash) E- £30 The fourth and final Wildflower offering on Dash by Wildflower. Two decent sides. Their best. Hear I.N.D - Just You Be You/I'm Not Ready (Momisey) M- £25 I.N.D put out an album in 1981 on Erect Records which included 'Just You Be You' but not the lilting flip side. Ready for a re-discovery this one. Hear Curtis Wiggins - Stand Up When I Talk To You/Can't Buy Love With Money (Palm) EX £40 Men's rights funk cut that pretty much tells her how it is, how it's gonna be and how it should be. Hear Modern/70s+++++++ Barbara Stant - My Mind Holds Onto Yesterday/He's Still Your Man (Shiptown) EX £225 100% original killer from Ms Stant. My fave by her.Hear Gail Miles - Got To Find Him/Got To Find Him (Reprise) (Exit 6) VG+ £25 Obscure Texas female funky soul offering wll worth a look.Hear Courtial with Errol Knowles - Losing You/Don't You Think It's Time (Pipeline) M- £175 Classic old school Deep Funk spin that sounds so good today. Revival time. VG+ copy sold last year for $308 - check it out hereHear Palmer James - Love Me Part 1/Love Me Part 2 (Get Down) VG+ £25 Minimal, raunchy groover. Obscure one.Hear Korla with Klass - Stop Before You Start/No Other Woman (Music Master) E- £100 One time very big money modern and a version of the Arlene Bell on VelvetHear Northern/R&B and a weird Latin disco ender++++++ The Chaumonts - I Need Your Love/Love Is The Thing (Bay Sound) EX £75 Straight up northern stuff on the top side backed with a slightly darker flip. £150 on Manship's site. Hear Claude Huey - Why Would You Blow It/Why Did Our Love Go (Galaxy) EX £175 Faultless and classy northern at the funkier end. So. Damn. Good.Hear Freddie Watson - The Unlucky Seven/It's All Over Now (Eloys) M- £20 Really good funky soul effort that probably gets overlooked but give it a spin: listenig again to this having forgotten what it sounded like I looke dover at the decks and thought 'ooh, this is a good tough sounding funky soul tune, what is it, again…? Oh, this! Nice!" Hear Fabulous Pawns - One More Heartache/Monkey Time (IGL) M- £25 Good garage version of the Smokey tune backed with a try at Major lance's 'Monkey Time'. Decent record. Hear Anamia - Besame Mucho/Quizas, Quizas, Quizas (WS Latino) EX £20 Seen the LP from where this curious slab of Mexican disco originates up for $220 online! Wow. Check it and see if it's your thing.Hear
