Weird Release, Swamp Dogg / Doris Duke

According to Discogs, on the Canyon label:

 

53  is Swamp Dogg - Total destruction to your mind / Synthetic world

 

54 is Doris Duke - He's gone / The feeling is right

 

I've got one here, side one is numbered 53 and is Swamp Dogg - Total destruction to your mind, but the other side is numbered 54 and is Doris Duke - He's Gone

 

I know it's not likely to be worth anything but does that sound a bit strange?

Also both of those tracks were the official B-sides.  I'd be interest in seeing a scan to see the numbers at the bottom are for SD: 53B and DD: 54B

yeah at the bottom of the label they say 53B and 54 B respectively

I'll see if I can get a photo uploaded

Also, this is a vinyl record and there's absolutely nothing in the grooves except 53B and 54B

Label looks a bit shiny compared to your average Canyon.
You've got an oddy there.
