Very sad news. Knew Clive from the early days, and whenever we bumped into each other we always shook hands and had a quick word.  As has been said before a nice , gentle bloke who will be sadly missed.

Hello All

Devastating news about Clive. A Gentleman of the highest calibre, an absolutely fantastic dancer who made it all look so effortless and a man I have known for many years who also was the coolest guy on the planet. I was honoured to be his friend and I loved him to bits.  I know he will be sorely missed by all his friends at "Kingsway Hall" on the dance floor, A venue he very rarely missed but the venue will miss Clive.  Sleep well my friend.

I can honestly say that Clive was probably the most sincere, unassuming and all together nicest bloke I have met on the circuit. He had a style of his own, a lovely nature and a great sense of humour.

It's going to seem strange not seeing him doing his own little thing on the dance floor anymore

A true gent in every way who will be sorely missed

R.I.P. and God bless you

Remember Clive best from Samanthas during the mid 70's. Best dancer on the scene by a country mile. We never spoke but Clive always had a smile, wink or a laugh for you.

I knew Clive from the early days at Samanthas and from college when we were both apprentice bricklayers, he never seemed to be any different in all the years I knew him. Just getting ready to attend his funeral now, no doubt there will be a big turnout to give him a good  send off .......

Rest in peace Clive

Ray, Clive's brother has asked us to post up a big thank you to the many of you who attended Clive's funeral today.  He was overwhelmed by the massive turnout and support.  So many lovely tributes to a guy who obviously commanded the greatest respect.
