What a corker

Always thought this was a "Detroit-related" category of record.

Sounds totally Detroit to my ears.

Some of the credits are Detroit-related.

I have an issue and a WDJ and I noticed the demo says " A James Brown Production" (presumably just marketing :g: ).

Anyone know the story behind all this please? Was it recorded in Detroit, if so where, if not any other decent gen?

Cheers

Richard

Richard as you said two of the three writers are J J Barnes and Richard Morris, so thats very strong Detriot connection.  She was in his review at the time, so it may have been a marketing ploy to get radio stations to play it, funny the Federal issues don't say it.  I've never been 100% convinced all the credits that say "A James Brown production" are really all "James Brown" productions.  The people aty ACE might be able to clarify it as they've been through the vaults for their King related CD's
