It doesn't sound like the Delfonics or Stylistics.  I checked much of their music and I don't believe it is either.

Maybe the Saints.

1974 recorded in Philly.  NOT The stylistics, nor The Delfonics.  I don't know almost anything about The '70s, so I can't help here.  I'd bet this is NOT a "Sound Of Philadelphia" group.  It must be a fairly obscure Philly group on a stray national semi-major label (sort of like The Stylistics were on AVCO).

Sounds like The Continental Four, 

 

It is not one of their known recordings as far as I know, but there are missing release numbers on the Jay Walking label so perhaps someone has found a missing number from that label and it's them.  Nice tune.
