Popular Post micky gynn Posted June 24, 2014 Popular Post Posted June 24, 2014 My first visit to the Horse & Groom and a real pleasure it was to be there. From the moment I walked into the pub and Joe came over and introduced himself to me and thenmet Bri, Dave, Mick & Steve, who all made me feel so welcome.I had arranged to meet Kev and the lads from Darlington to have an afternoon of talking football, but more importantlysoul music. It was like I had known you all forever and thank you for making the day so special.Great to meet up again with Brett & Mark H, both top collectors, but more importantly both top guys. The music was wonderful and an added bonus was Chris was doing a set with a 3pm kick off time, with the highlightthe stunning Ebony Expressions 45.Where else can you hear tunes of that quality on a Sunday afternoon, just wonderful.Superb tunes and great company, I would recommend the event to anyone who has not yet attended.Kind regards,Micky 5
Guest Polyvelts Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Just spotted "Tricky Sticky situation" in there !! What a tune !!!!
Oldsoulman Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Fab afternoon @ Horse & Groom with great music from everyone involved  2
spot Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Top last set by Bri P, others weren't to shabby either. Spot. p.s. Joe say "Goodbye" to John Phillips if I don't see him before he returns to Oz. 1
spot Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Fab afternoon @ Horse & Groom with great music from everyone involved  See you caught the Phantom Arse Groper on tape & how cool did Joe look spinning a few in his shades , great video even though the panning was a bit quick & made my head spin but depending on time of day & quantity of liquid intake then I suppose your head could have been spinning , still great to see Soulies enjoying themselves, we had a weekend or 2 in. Spot. p.s. Thought it was the Horse & Groom, not the Arse & Grope? Edited July 13, 2014 by spot 1
