Stateside Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I sold my copy about 10yrs ago for £50, don't see it that often on lists. Always thought it was too fast to dance to anyway. Great record though! Never heard it covered by anyone else. Kev 1

Only Dreaming Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I first heard this on one of the Northern Soul Story Lp's in the late 80's and picked up an original copy shortly afterwards for £8.I assuming that it was well known for it to appear on the NSS LP in the first place. Dave
jocko Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 BSide is fantastic, and the side I put on CD's, whenever I get round to doing them. I agree its not worth much but you never used to see it that much. Hopefully because people of taste snuggle it nightly before placing it softly on the shelf. 2

Jim Elliott Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Both sides are fantastic Chicago soul. Nice to see ' Sunshine Girl' getting some credit at long last. It's the usual crap however, until a 'big name dj' plays it it'll stay undervalued. Proper in my house anyway. Jim. Edited June 19, 2014 by Jim Elliott 2
Robbk Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I never heard of anyone else singing that song. I have it. It's almost my "newest" record (other than my Airwave, Altair and Rene records.
