Pete S Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I should really know this, and I expect the answer is no, but I have two questions about Ebay searches. 1) Can you search by item with most bidders in a particular category? 2) Can you do a search for say Northern Soul but exclude certain sellers?

Re. 2 above, don't you just go to Advanced Search, scroll down to Sellers, select "Only Show Items From" and then it allows you to select Exclude. Then you can put in the ID of any seller you want to exclude. I think possibly if you want to exclude more than one seller you can just put in multiple Ids separated by commas. Not sure if that answers your question or if the last bit works, but worth a try.

Tiberius Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 With regards to point number 1 I think the closest way to do this would be in the "Advanced Search" settings. Type in whatever your "keyword" and "category" are, eg. keyword could be "60's "and category "music", then scroll down the page to the "Show results" field and fill in the fields for "Number of bids from ___ to ___" with suitable figures (some experimentation may be required here, perhaps start at 10 and work up). Not exactly the answer but I can't see another way.
