Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 a buyer from spain won 2 lp's from me,i stipulate i only use sign for postage on my listings,so within the uk it is £4.30 and unfortunatly for europe it is £12.50 i dont charge any extra for the new mailers i use,and the lp's all start off on very low starting bids,so that the lp's are worth buying. anyway,he sent me a message after he won, saying 'he doesnt want sign for postage,he wants basic postage' and i replied saying 'im sorry but i only use sign for postage for both our protection' and that the listing states this. and just as a point,i offer no quibble returns and full refund including postage both ways!...basically the buyer cannot lose out with me in any situation. so you wont believe what he does next! he pays me,then leaves me a negative feedback which says ' seller wouldnt offer me basic postage, postage to dear' what do i do,and what do you guys thinks? thanks
Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 just to add...i have 100% feedback with 275 selling transactions,my feedback reports are always 'well graded, super fast delivery, will buy again' and the guy from spain has 2 feedback!...should ebay feel this negative feedback is unreasonable and unjust and remove it?
Pete S Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Yes, phone them up and tell them exactly what happened and they should remove the negative. 1
Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Yes, phone them up and tell them exactly what happened and they should remove the negative. thanks pete, your always spot on with this kinda thing. would it work on the live chat?
Pete S Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 They are usually clueless on the live chat mate, I'd ring them, the guy failed to adhere to your terms and conditions and you have done nothing wrong. 1

Popular Post Pete S Posted June 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted June 1, 2014 just done it pete, and they have removed it. the thing is,he has p***ed me off,i dont want him to have the lp's now,can i refund him without question? Yes you can, and you should also leave 'constructive' negative feedback, I know you can't actually leave neg but you can always say something 'newbie needs to read terms and condition before leaving feedback' sort of thing. Then what I'd do is go on Facebook and tell the entire world what a tw*t he is, but thats just me 6

John Benson Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Sounds like a case of newbie needs to read terms and conditions before bidding / buying. Let alone them wait until actually leaving feedback. Some people just don't read things correctly, if at all Edited June 1, 2014 by John Benson
Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 haha...i have the records and his money, now he is messaging me telling me that i need to learn how to do postage! bloke is a fruitcake! 1
Pete S Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Refund his money, then tell him you have reported him to Ebay for malicious feedback, then block him from bidding on your stuff again, you'll never hear from him again, good riddance. 1
Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Refund his money, then tell him you have reported him to Ebay for malicious feedback, then block him from bidding on your stuff again, you'll never hear from him again, good riddance. i am going to refund him,and report him to ebay, however i expect him to then leave neg feedback for not seeing the deal through, but then again,he will probably leave neg feedback once he has recieved the records anyway! because he had 2 lp's,so that leaves him the opportunity to still leave a neg.
Lionelonthevinyl Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 For gods sake lee it always seems to be you in a mess at the minute! Again I've never had a problem...mind you he does sound like an arse! To be fair though, never had to ship abroad, thank god...why can't people be straightforward? Drives me mad....Rob 1

He's already left you feedback, so he can't leave you it again. Cancel his order, give him his money back, thats it. 1

Drives me mad....Rob haha..very true mate,i wouldnt mind, but i keep my listings very simple, your not bombarded with paragraph after paragraph of wording. you a get a pic of both sides,a brief description,no postage options, sign for and thats it,no quibble returns with full refund including postage both ways, the buyer really cannot lose out with me at all! but i cant help what the post office charges can i. but still some people still find problems that arent even there! 1
Dobber Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 anyway to end it...i have refunded him, told him he aint having the records, ebay have removed the feedback, and i have barred him from future bidding! from soulie to soulie i feel there is this hidden rule that we all try to play ball with eachother...dont need to go crying to the headmaster!
Lionelonthevinyl Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Exactly right lee...we are all into the same thing...it's not that difficult to communicate with each other is it?....take care pal...till the next time!.....Rob 1
Dave West Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 you can block him so he cannot bid on your items ever again, i currently have about 20 punters blocked so i know it works as have had an email before saying ,why cant i bid on your items.. usually block them for non payment dave 1
