It was a bubblegum record from the late 60s, remember it at the time. Absolute rubbish imo, similar to the ghastly Simon Says. If this was played at a night purported to be a soul night I'm shocked. Was it the Wigan Casino pop era? I never went there so hard to judge but am amazed that things like Nine Times Out Of Ten were played. Did it sound good when everyone was "stimulated"? I was going to say thank goodness things are better now but a friend visited a certain club in the south east of England and he told me they played Joe 90.

It would sound even worse if stimulated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!green and clears couldnt make that sound good, unless you were a cafe hangout greaser into such shit as choons like this were are and always will be in my opinion ,but hey one mans meat is another mans poison(Some like chalkies I fuc...g hate them and always have)
