Mike Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) This forum has been set up after suggestions led by Derek p were posted suggesting a "RIP memorial space, where a fitting tribute could be left to those people who are no longer with us." recently posted here > It is set-up as a member led forum, as in all the topics and such are from the members rather than the site.Though the site team can move threads into here on request via the contact us link > contact us There is a Gallery Category marked which may be better suited if do have a lot of photos that wish to share> soul people rip gallery category Please also note as this is a 'memorial' type forum rather than a 'news' type forum, all 'sad news' posts should still be posted initially in the main news type forums. John Elias Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Mike, the post for Van Astbury RIP seems to be off the radar as it's been moved/ There must be a lot of people that knew him who haven't left a tribute?

Thanks The Soul Source team The bolded bit was included to inform people where the initial sad news should be posted. However as I said if you wanted it moved then you do need to send me a pm and I would then have moved it. That is a long running policy with sad news such as this and I do feel that this policy of only moving on request is best as I or other mods can't really second guess members intentions especially given the sensitive nature of such posts. regards mike have moved the original post to aats Edited July 4, 2014 by mike edited as thread moved
Mike Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) Unfortunately this forum hasn't worked as well as hopedMembers are still posting sad news announcements here rather than via the "all about the soul" forumthe header does sayA memorial type forum for talking about the Soul People who are no longer with us.Please note that the AATS forum may be better suited to pass on sad news.but it seems that we still get misunderstandings. So in order to try and avoid these misunderstandings. on what is always a sensitive subject I feel it may be best if we close this forum and later move the existing posts to the aats forum any thoughts?mike Edited August 4, 2015 by mike
