I don't believe there are any uk white demo king 45s

Just stickers and stamps

I have never seen a proper UK DJ King in all my digging

I collect Jamaican things, am slightly interested in King  as it released Jackie opels deep soul 45 eternal love and one or two other 45s that I am aware of

No Mary Love or Rumblers UK DJ releases in my opinion

a test press or two maybe ?

Stamped - cut out centres, that would be uk holy grail find?

there were no ska beat uk demos either

i think it was decca, i may be wrong, but they were not promoting - just pressing small runs for small scenes

that's how it seems to me

im not an expert, that just how it looks  when digging

Never seen any UK demos either...funnily enough I picked up a Steve Francis Watch Your Step the other week.Yep records for small scenes... Loads of irish showband music, ballads, reggae and Pop and soul.About 20 years ago a box of the Rumblers was found...you had to force the records out of the sleeves.

It's kind of a demo but because the label's no different from the issue...well the complete package has the record with the red stamped A on the centre, a proper King sleeve with the release date typed on and a reference to their distributors.  There are a couple of test presses for each release.

:hatsoff2: HI ALL ... No DEMOS from R&B DISCS except for blank copies of 3 KING releases 2 are IRISH, & 1 Rare Northern Mary Love, which was found in that state (SO DON'T TRYING TO SCRUB A SOUL SOUNDS TO LOOK LIKE MICK'S COPY)

MY scanner is playing up at the moment, however I have 4 demo sleeves from R&B DISCS. very rare & unique as they are hand written 1 offs that had the original recording JA sent to pressing plant all had the white & blue R&B label in, DAVE K

:hatsoff2: HI ALL....What a classic version, like many KING 45s not many about, there is more to this label than the 2 big ones the RUMBLERS & JACKIE DAY  DaveK
