Tim Smithers Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) How good is this, Greg Belson play, was lucky enough to track one down, any info about the group, is this their only recording ? https://youtu.be/nCSfHhGwjqA Edited May 9, 2014 by tim smithers 1
Greg Belson Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Cheers for the nice words, Tim.....'We don't love enough' is not their only recording. They recorded at least one other 45, released on Random Productions out of the same Compton address as the Black Artists Co. label. The Triumphs 'I won't compromise' / 'You've got to move' (Random Productions 100) Features the same composer/production team with the same publisher details. Tough to say which came first, but I'd say the Random disc pre-empted the Black Artists 45.....Random pressed on vinyl, BA on styrene. You can check out 'I won't compromise' if you spool through pt. 11 of my radio show. https://www.mixcloud.com/gregbelson/divine-chord-gospel-show-pt-11/
Greg Belson Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 That "Random", anything to do with Randy Wood ? Pretty sure it isn't, Chris. 1
