Hi,

I am having a clear out of Northern Soul records from my youth, putting them up on ebay all starting at £1.99. I would appreciate some advice on the value of a copy I have of Gwen Owens 'Just say you're wanted'.  Just wanting to know what to expect , a little or alot. Many Thanks

Attached a photo below.  Description :VELGO,  Bright, med Green, no star type logo that some copies have, just credits on both sides.  VO-002, scratch marking on the leadout reads 102402-x with a pre-ceding triangle symbol. Also a separate small circle etched. No jumping.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I try to sell.

Many Thanks

Mrs C

hi, its a 70s bootleg, stick it on at £1.99 and let the bootleg collectors fight it out who knows were it may finish.....?

but cover yourself and state its a 70s press and not a original eventhough this will make no difference to many bidders

good luck and would be good to update us with a finish price

Thank you, will put it on this evening.

Looks like some mice got to it up in the attic. Even though it has been nibbled into a rectangle, I'm sure someone will still bid it up to about £30 for the label alone...

Should do well at auction. Fantastic record. Virtually impossible to obtain an original. The bootleg doesn't skip but it is made of styrene which devalues it somewhat. Hope it finds a good home where it will be enjoyed in private.
