Autumnstoned Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Don't know many of those Rob, but will give 'em a listen later on Youtube. Sad to say I only made it to Majestic once last May before we moved from London. Because it is held on Thursday nights, it didn't fit well around work the next day, but look forward to going again sometime soon.

Ady Croasdell Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Scorching set and super night. Top dancer was Fish Ain't Biting and top record Fascinations Just Another Reason. I never thought I'd get a chance to dance/sway to that at a club. That's why majestic is #1 for me 3
Geoff Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Nice selection Rob. Thanks for posting your playlist, enables me to listen again, not always easy to take things in when talking and drinking. Well done to the Majestic guys for getting guests who play interesting and lesser known tunes. Listening as I type this to Darling Dear by the Jackson 5, normally wouldn't have bothered but as said by others a really nice tune.
binsy Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 A really interesting set as usual from allround top guy and Majestic regular Rob, and it is really nice to be able to give people with a different take on soul music a chance to play. I also loved hearing Lamont dozier - i don't want nobody to come between us. Next month Leona and Yann from Masters of Soul 2
