Ultra rare modern dancer on a private label from places unknown. Nice Sweet group flip too. With very few known copies  this could be an investment for an enterprising dj/collector.

NEW DIRECTIONS - TODAY IS A NEW DAY (GREER-WOLFF PRODUCTIONS) M-  £200 now £160
Private label discovery from 1976 and with tons of potential and very rare. Unknown to most.

FRIENDS LTD. - GOT TO HAVE THAT FUNKY MUSIC (PORTRAIT OF SOUND) VG++  £175  now £140
Pretty much unknown dancer out of Scottsdale, Arizona from 1975. Very few around and ripe for progressive dj plays.


TRUTH & DEVOTION - I'M SO HAPPY (CHAMP) VG+  £175 now  £150
Thumping gospel mover completely different take to the LP picked up rave reviews on my podcast. The only other copy I know of is with Greg Belson in the States so could be an exclusive play here in the UK.

BOBBY JONES & NEW LIFE - HE'S JUST ALRIGHT WITH ME (FREE SPIRIT) M-  £175  now  £150
Another major gospel rarity. From 1977 what a powerfully voiced dancer this is! Don't know of any other copies either.

DOWN BEATS - WHY DO YOU LOVE ANOTHER (DAWN) M-  £135 now £110
Wonderful, dark, deep-with-a-beat majestical tune.

RON SURREY & MARY MUNDY - SHAME ON ME / I DON'T WANT TO HATE NOBODY (INSURANCE CITY) VG++  £100 now  £80
Storming funk-edged dancer from '72 c/w outstanding super soulful flip.

YOUNG DIVINES - DEEP IN YOUR HEART (NEW LONDON INT) VG++  £90  now  £80
1st local label for this '76 dancer from the Tragar/Note stable.
Recent spins and £200/300 on other dealers lists!

FOURTEEN KARAT SOUL - THE TROUBLE WITH LOVE  / PLEASE SAY YOU WANT ME (CATAMOUNT) M-  £80 now  £65
Very rare Skip Jackson modern soul project out of New Jersey.

HAROLD BOWEN - FAITH (BO-MAC) VG++  £75  now  £60
Thought to be LP only until recently this is a great crossover dancer out of CA. Not known and of the 2 copies found I'm keeping the spare.

HARVEY AVERNE BAND - LOVE NEVER STAYS THE SAME (FANIA) VG  £65  now  £55
Exceptional crossover.

JOHNNY NEEL & SHAPES OF SOUL- LOOK OUT WORLD  (RICHIE) VG++  £65  now  £45
Had some spins via Paul Sadot a while back but mostly unknown.

Splendid harmonica led crossover semi-known.
