purist Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 My wife insists she's seen a TV advert, possibly for British Airways, which has a Northern tune in it. Anybody else seen it, or has she gone bonkers (again) If so what was the tune ?

purist Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Thanks guys for the help, plus SWIFTY making me laugh. I suppose i should have guessed which tune it was gonna be, like already said above, its an old fave of mine toohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTSFMzE_Qls 1
Mick Holdsworth Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 A fair few month ago there was a advert (I'm sure it was also for an airline, but might be mistaken) that used "I Get the Sweetest Feeling". Big deal, you say, except the version used was Erma Franklin, which was a refreshing change from Jackie or some generic male copycat used forever Thinking about it, it was probably about 12 months or more back now. Cheers Mick

Liamgp Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 It would be so much more fun if they used this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chz_spIGIx0
pikeys dog Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Anyone else see the irony in them using "destination anywhere"? Wherever you fly to with them, they land anywhere but the destination you want ie Oslo = Torp,

Steve S 60 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 After reading the letter of complaint from MrC's mate to Ryan Air, they should have used "I Ain't Going Nowhere" on the TV advert. 1
