Simon T Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 As im such a lady i now am going for a bath, who is gonna go next. link As I knew the TSU T's & Fantastic Puzzles, I'll be cheeky! How about "smokey the bear would pluck out all his hair, if he could see this heart of mine"
Pete S Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Somethings burning...except it's meant to be the first line
Simon T Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Somethings burning...except it's meant to be the first line link Really, that's interesting, I'll give another listen I think Tabitha's is the Intentions - don't forget that I love you, so over to you anyway
Dayo Posted October 29, 2004 Author Posted October 29, 2004 Just a note: when I kicked this thread off I never said it had to be the first line, but on reflection, maybe that is a really good idea. If I can humbly offer a word of guidance, it'll be more inclusive if we keep to broadly known songs (I'll shut up now). Shuffles off, apologetically.
Kerry F Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 mine was jimmy norman, i dont love you no more hippo.
Pete S Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Mine was The Intentions but agree it should be better known things...try this one.. You know how it feels to be standing all alone
pikeys dog Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 "I wish there was a way for you to look in to my heart" WOOF!
Simon T Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 "I wish there was a way for you to look in to my heart" WOOF! link Well bugger me, that's what they're singing. I'm very Greatful for that!

But anyway... if nobody else is going to have a go I'll do another one Boy I love you and you know it I tried so many times to show it link Hello everyone, I am new to this site. Is it Stronger than her love - By The Flirtations?
Guest Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Hello everyone, I am new to this site. Is it Stronger than her love - By The Flirtations? link Sorry, just realised there was another page to read. Doh! I've got one for you (been out of it for a while though) When you called me on the phone last night, I wasn't home
Dayo Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Has this thread stalled a little? Try this one (easy, don't wait for a yes) "My baby put some love on me, just the way that lovin' should be...."
Soulsmith Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Well here's some lyrics you don't hear everyday: "When I found that love of mine, I found the fruit bats on the vine!" Should be easy to guess the record - but does anyone have an explanation?
Dayo Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 Well here's some lyrics you don't hear everyday: "When I found that love of mine, I found the fruit bats on the vine!" Should be easy to guess the record - but does anyone have an explanation? link Happy, in one! Fruit bats on the vine rings a bell... lol
Pete S Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 (edited) Yeah it's I've Arrived but he sings "the fruit THATS on the vine" not BATS Edited October 30, 2004 by StoneIsland
Soulsmith Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Aha! I can see where I've been going wrong. Another one that I had trouble with was Native New Yorker: "He dropped me off at East Eighty Third" ......which I heard as "He dropped me off & he stayed in third!" Undaunted, here's another one for you: "When she'll touch down Memphis - I'll be There"
pikeys dog Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Well bugger me, that's what they're singing. I'm very Greatful for that! link And so you should be, my Brother of Soul. WOOF!
Gary Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 And so you should be, my Brother of Soul. WOOF! link Get this going again? Heres an easy one to start, "Lately youve been tired and your lovemaking leaves a lot to be desired"
