Ok, thanks Prophonics.

Hopefully some one has a first issue they are willing to sell or trade?

Thanks

Pete

The first issue is one of the Modern Soul scene's genuinely rare originals if you ask me. Never showed up in quantity. Stuart Cosgrove found the first small handful and then Soul Bowl got a minuscule amount a few years later. I'd be surprised if there are more than a dozen genuine first issues known.

I bought one as an original off a dealer. Showed mine to Dave Thorley and he couldn't be sure. And he has an original.

A good friend of mine tried to track this down about two years after its release. All those in charlotte who he thought may give him a good lead told him the guy who put the thing out was not to be messed with and to stay well clear. With that in mind I would be suspicious of the second press having much to do with the guy who put it out in the first place. By the way Ted you sold it to me. Really don't mind you getting my name wrong as it must be about
