Mal C Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) Lovin this today, I'm on a long train journey and it's on repeat , not looking like that's gonna change anytime soon! What a track, I've got it via an mp3 in the last cd swap from the recent Motown box set of unreleased stuff, is that the only way you can get it on vinyl? Btw, welcome back soul people! Sutty Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That's the 45 from the motown box, nothing dodgy about it. It was from the unreleased 'David' LP, since released on CD
gazman Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Lovely song, got a good version by Ginette Reno on Parrot too.gary

Sheldonsoul Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 the whole David unreleased album is brill his vocals are so emotional , I listen to it over and over again. My favourite track is you can come right back to me
Autumnstoned Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Each Day Is A Lifetime from the David CD is a real tour de force. One of the very best arrangements/productions on Motown which rightly did get released at the time.

Mal I can only echo everyone's comments. A fabulous release from 2004, originally as a numbered limited edition CD by Hip-O-Select who specialise in the Motown back catalogue. Further copies and the MP3 version were made available much later. Guest Brett F Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Agree, fantastic track, i too got the CD when it was released, think it was $10 from their web site, i'm a vinyl fan first and foremost, but the CD is the original, i know they have since re-released the CD, but interesting to see a vinyl 45'.
Soul-slider Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 One of the best, if not the best soul singers of all time! 2
Pete S Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I gave that 2 stars out of 5 when I rated the box set. Soz.
