Guest Darks Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 hi there got this track on a cd anyone know if its available on vinyl? prefer a 45 if it is regards in advance Got this on a 45 somewhere. Came out on Final Vinyl. A dark blue label, very difficult to read writing on the label. I think this is the original but I'm sure it got booted or re-issued. Regards Alan
pikeys dog Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 It was reissued on Bunky - which must be rare in itself, as I haven't seen one in the last 15 years. Fynal Vynal copy went for over £400 on Manships auction last year - I've only ever seen two copies - the first one was £30 which I left because I thought it was a boot - the second I paid £60 for, about a month before Mr Manship auctioned it.
Guest Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 girls talk here.... the red one's the boot and hey I only know that because Steve Plumb said so on his radio show last week

Bloody hell!!! Did'nt think it was that rare or expensive. Got mine for £2.50 from Vinyl Exchange in Manchester. Not sure how it got to be in there. I'm sure Derek Pearson used to have a copy. Does'nt sound like a £400 sound to me. But what do I know. Regards Alan

Sean Hampsey Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 As I remember it aint all that good and is very fast too boot! Am I missing something here? Missing Nothing Alan, One of my least favourites from the Thorne era. A bit of Uptempo Disco I reckon. That's about it... but at the time Kev and I joked that 'one day' the Northern Scene would catch onto it. Yes, must speak before the weekend Alan. Sean

Regards Alan Hi Alan/Seany Baby I reckon it still sounds good now, although i've always had a soft spot for it! Good vocals, good driving production, good hook line........ Bob on for the Northern rooms now imho There is a dead rare 12" of it too (as someone pointed out earlier) Cheers Steve
