clevesoulie Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 A promo of "Pushing a Good Thing Too Far" by Sandy Williams sold for $150 in the Facebook Rare Soul Sales group. My question is this...is there any sort of demand for this record? I have it, don't like it, and want to throw it in with a batch I have for trading. Thanks in advance for any input. Best, Mark
Roburt Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I'd say the 45 has fans on the NS scene ............
Len Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) I love it, and play it out from time to time - I'd say there would be some demand for it. ......but what do I know? All the best, Len Edited March 7, 2014 by LEN
Premium Stuff Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) I remember it first from Dave Evison playing it when I was a lad. John Manship auctioned one a few months ago. Cheers Richard Edited March 7, 2014 by Premium Stuff
Premium Stuff Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 The record sold for GBP £150 - not dollars as stated above. Richard 1
Len Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) Not bad but there's better versions.. Yes there is, but this is the 'different' version, and that's all that matters All the best, Len P.s - It's not R 'n' B Edited March 7, 2014 by LEN

Premium Stuff Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I think it's a very nice record. One I remember from a particular time and place as a youth which makes it better. Incidentally, just checked Manship's Guide and that rates this record at £150. Cheers Richard
