Here's a good one................................

Hi again, Chris
The postage listed is an eBay default postage price based on your home country. And it doesn't take into account the packing material, wrapping and getting the package to the post office. Often times the postage is more than what is listed on eBay. (I had to learn the hard way). That's why I ask that you wait for my invoice.

But, I understand and sympathize with those who win and live outside the US. I try to keep my item prices low to make up for the heavy postage tab.
If, however, you feel the postage is too much I won't be upset and will gladly refund your payment.
I'll get back to you later today.
Thanks again,
Rick

What a loser.........................

Another unusual one from Discogs.

Dunno if it's a genuine acetate or a mail order type thing, however I'll be amazed if it's worth the asking price.

Rusty Draper is a US old school country artist.

Bud Harper, Rusty Draper ‎– Mr Soul / Love Don't Grow On Trees

Label : The Music Centre, Wembley

Format:

Acetate, 7", 45 RPM

£4,427.64 - why 64p ?? postage ?

see here:

Anyone who would buy that pile of horseshite at any price want`s birching!!

The seller lists it as rare '60's.  It would have been extremely rare in the sixties unless somebody travelled back in time from the seventies with a few copies.

Apologies if I have this all wrong but...

What appears to be a Flirtations 70's boot with a stick on label has just sold for £250.

Here's the link to the eBay sale and also the popsike link to when it was sold last year for £53 (still too much for a boot)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NORTHERN-SOUL-FLIRTATIONS-STRONGER-THAN-HER-LOVE-45RPM-/253056515524?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=CAds3JbQzmxH%2F9VJDSrU9ZILWbI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

In fairness to the seller, it wasn't described as original and when I asked, they said it could be a 70's boot.

PLAYS WITH AUTHENTIC NOISE TO MAKE IT SOUND OLDER THAN IT IS

what next?????

Has it been sprayed with tincture of old vinyl so that it smells authentic? That has to be the defining touch, erm, doesn't it?

Suspect the sale was cancelled. Item resurfaced shortly afterwards but described more accurately.

 I noticed that and the previous buyer left feedback to thank the seller for being understanding (or something like that)!

This a 70s boot, no "severe" dip, there is a dip though.

Just like this one from Ebay.

You can also tell by the print of the label, obviously done on 21st century equipment.

Still quite difficult to tell from the scan alone. Need to know  if it has the LW BF and A in the deadwax. But thanks for the input everyone.
