My comedy sale of the day is on this site as I was looking down the sales list _ Someone trying to sell Big Lee Dowell 12" for £60 when you can still buy it from Alberto for £20 +postage.

This scene is phooked by Greed merchants!

He also states the 7" has gone for over £160.00(Suggesting his 12" is a much cheaper option)  Ive  seen one sold for over that! This is just another example of someone with an outrageous price and then every tom dick or harry jumps on the bandwagon stating seen @ Blah Blah Blah. What I now call Robert Thomas syndrome!

I sell quite a bit on Ebay, you'd be surprised how many buyers come back and say "Oh! I didn't see/read that". I am sure they just see the photo-scan, price and bid accordingly.

That's true, the whole gaggle that used to be stocked at that Leighton Buzzard record shop (can't remember the name) in the 1970s (Hesitations, Younghearts, Rose Batiste, Barbara Mills, etc) sell now for near original money. In a dark room it's tough to tell them from originals and the Johnny-come-lately/Bedroom DJs do buy them.

Not sure but didn't one of the Rose Batiste pressings have a different B Side that was only available in this format which later made it collectable in its own right.  Not 100% on that by the way !

I paid a fiver for the Soul Sounds bootleg,. It plays much nicer than the ABC styrene,.  Awful things!
