  Need to go to Specsavers !! Doh

Sorry you were right in the first instance this is a boot. The real styrene demo (which this is pretending to be)

The runout deadwax area is a lot narrower than the one in the scans shown and there is a raised 'X' in the deadwax

of a real styrene demo

VAN DYKES LOOKALIKE BOOT WENT FOR £87 ON EBAY THE OTHER DAY

And it`s not really much of a lookalike either!

Ended at £525??

Sad sheepish twats - where were they when there were loads of copies about at £10-15? Or didn't they like it then because nobody else wanted it - i.e. a chart music mentality.

2 good copies music merchant eloise laws love factory recently struggled on ebay to get to 60 quid yet a white so called demo is on 49 ish with time still to go weep for the future no doubt to be spun by an aspiring jock

He posted this on facebook. I said it was the worst bootleg ever.  TMG's started at 501!

No bids so far, perhaps the 'made in Italy' bootleg wont attract any interest; then again Xmas is coming and I expect all sorts of silly prices paid for bootlegs and originals so you never know.

Late 70's mate, there are two like that, the other has Skiing In The Snow with the Toys version of Whats Wrong on the other side.  They are rare but I currently have both for sale for £15 or £20 each!

I sold one about years ago to a US based Dynovoice collector...

He knew it was a bootleg, but he wanted it enough to bid over £30 for it, even when i explained it was only a £5 record.

He was chuffed to bits with it.

The thing about simple typos is that they're not really comedy sales are they? This one for example is just a listing error. The rest of this guy's prices are ok so it's clearly a mistake. These type of accidents don't actually make you laugh like the deluded fools asking (or paying) stupidly high prices for common/readily available records and/or boots, do they?
