Hi!

Many years ago i got a Auction-list and a tape from Lew Stanley (the well know dealer) and there was this tune with The Soul Sensation and the Coachman Reviews Band  No more than before/ A thought of love on the Audiofonics label (Raleigh N.C.). I did bid on the record but lost, Anyhow i have now lost both list and sell-tape but the tune is kanda freashly in my head (had more than a million listen sessions with that tape so to speak).

So today when i looked at the rarenorthernsoul.com site there was a record cover up as The Ringleaders for mere £2000   Thing is...even if i had many listen-sessions to that tape it was awhile but that record must be The Soul Sensation and the Coachman Reviews Band or am i just DEAD WRONG about this?? Does anyone have a picture of this record on Audiofonics? Or even better a sound clip? Anyone seen it for sale? Price? If anyone has any info please share.

I´ll be greatful for any info all

Thanks & ATB

The Carolina Soul site says there were only 3 soul 45's released on the Audiofonics label ......

The one you are asking about (#1005) plus two others by the New Cavaliers .......

1003    The New Cavaliers   "Yo-Yo / My Love Has Gone"

1004    The New Cavaliers "My Dearest Shirley / Pygmalean"

I guess all of them are quite rare.

The New Cavaliers also had a 45 out on the Greene Soul label.

Audiofonics had their own studio as well as running a record label ............

They also cut & released tracks by gospel outfits.

Not seen a "Ringleaders" :D copy before :excl: , only know it as by The Soul Sensations which I have and which has smaller writing than your scan, and edge chip.

It's a 'fake' label Steve, maybe you might post up the real one (Soul Sensations & etc.)

Thanks for all who helped out both on this thread and by private PMs. And a very special thank you to Andy R for some most appreciated

information....My question was if that Cover-up at www.rarenorthernsoul.com as Ringleaders is in fact Soul Sensation on Audiofonics and via scan and sound i now know it is.
