why is this 45 not a massive tune ?

Its on the right label and its a rare 45

its so soulful and uptempo....the lyrics are so meaningful.

 

Its detroit northern soul of the highest order.

 

you hardly ever see it on sales lists or play lists.

 

why?

I used to play " IGTRFML" at Allanton/ Shotts alnighter 87-91 and always went down well...bought it off Pete Lawson...still one of my favs on the label

i wouldnt kick it out of bed,but on the grand sheme of things,its average id say,there are loads of records that dont seem to make it,i reckon there is always something lacking in each record that just doesnt quite get there!

Well I don't think there is anything average about this 45

His voice is perfect, The production is class, Its on a quality Detroit label 

Its not an easy 45 to find

 

I think its got everything going for it personally

It's a fine, classy production, as are most of the Thelma recordings.  But, I like "Lucky To Be Loved by You" far and away better, and "Don't Lead Me On Baby" much better.
