Premium Stuff Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) sure its not the New holidays on soulhawk.same backing track as Stanley Mitchell Quit twistin my arm. ricky. Hi I know the W Harvey and W Jones tracks - definitely not those. Hi Ricky what's the track name please. It's the New Holidays "My Baby Ain't No Plaything" on Westbound #157. This song isn't on Soulhawk. The Soulhawk #1008 release by the New Holidays has "If I Only Knew" on it. Both the Soulhawk and Westbound releases have "Maybe So, Maybe No" on them. Cheers Richard Edited February 18, 2014 by Premium Stuff

Sunnysoul Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 The New Holidays .... fantastic record ... both sides
Mick Holdsworth Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 The New Holidays is indeed a great version, but it couldn't be mistaken for a female, so is there another (female) version knocking about ?? I've never heard of one. Cheers Mick
Agrail Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Chris King used to play a carver of the Willie Harvey version. He must have dubbed it from tape, it doesn't sound like it was taken from any pressing - I've got it on eBay now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196119246446
