Mick Weaver responsible I think. He's up there with Ian MacLagan and Stevie Winwood two other great Brit organists.
Jakel Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I know I've gone off topic, but this is one of my favourite sleeves, reminded to me by the last one. Literal ain't the half of it! album title is ALL STRUNG OUT 1
Jakel Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Getting back on track I've been playing this out quite a lot - The Solicitiors on Excello. Hammond instrumental that Bridges the gap between mod, crossover, funk and northern. Useful, cool record, with a mental b side that changes speed. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Tci17phOWb8&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DTci17phOWb8
Guest gaz thomas Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) it was the Duane Yates 45 I was posting about I think its great The Solicitors 45 is fab mate I was getting sentimental and drinking last week, but my point was kick up the bum 45s, i sort of loose myself most of the time Duane Yates is a fab 45 I reckon it will cross over on to the soul scene this one in time give me a ring when i does, i might come out for a dance Edited February 21, 2014 by gaz thomas
