Derek Pearson Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Your help is required please. Does anybody know which issue of Soul Up North Mark Hanson did a review of Sidney Barnes singing at The Dome in London? It was at least 10 years ago and I was there that night. I'm almost certain I've got the relevant issue somewhere, trouble is all my fanzines are tightly boxed up and it's one of those loose threads thats been blowing about in my mind for far too long. Chalky Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 That night at the Dome, was it that night he told us all who the Patti Austin cover up was the Ad-Libs (You'll Always Be In Style)? Or was it another time he happened along?
Daved Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I remember the performance at The Dome too. Weren't The Flirtations on the same night?
Soulwolf Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I seem to recall one night in 2001 when Sidney Barnes and The Flirtations were introduced to the crowd . There was a video also taken on the night. Still got it somewhere in the loft.
