Youtube - What Do I Need To Do To Post Up Tracks?

Can anyone give me the key tips for opening up a decent YouTube account and on how to post up good quality vids please?

 

Vids means records.

 

I have as raw materials label scans taken from records and MP3 or other format soundfiles taken from records.

 

What do I need to know please?

 

I would like my posts to be decent quality - authentic material only - not like some of the sh*te on there

Depends if you have PC or Mac. Both usually have simple video editing software that will let you create a video and upload it to Youtube through the software. Before my account closed I used Mac's iMovie.

Windows movie maker if you have a PC - downloadable as part of the Windows Live Essentials from the NMNicrosoft website if you have Windows 7 or 8. 

 

It's free, dead easy to use, it will make slideshows of pictures set to an mp3, or let you add a soundtrack/mp3 to a previously recorded video, removing the original sound from the video if you want, etc. and has preset outputs including ones for hi def youtube.
