Andreas B Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) The Show Stoppers - Ain't Nothin' But A House Party / What Can A Man Do? (Stateside Denmark) EXHere's a genuine oddball foreign release, never seen another of it, no mention on discogs or popsike. Yes, there's tons of releases of this northern classic 2-sider on many UK and US labels, but I imagine this has to be one of if not the rarest way to own it (please correct me if I'm wrong ) Danish releases of soul in general are quite hard to come by, as so fewer of them were ever made with smaller demand compared with neighboring Sweden & Germany. Chances are you're not likely to see another one of these surface again soon. Disc is in EX shape, extremely clean. Pic sleeve shows some abuse (see scans) with some small rips in the top and a small seam split on either side. No idea how to price it so I'm opening it up to serious offers. PM me. Sunnysoul Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Nice to see it on Stateside but the very first original US issue on Party Time is very nice too. 1

Jerry Hipkiss Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Nice to see it on Stateside but the very first original US issue on Party Time is very nice too. Interestingly, the yellow Beacon UK issue is Frankford/Wayne stamped, and the matrix reads STR-101A (I take it that's Showtime?)...I guess the red and white swirl issue is the same, but how many of the other variants used the US master plates?
