Tommy1 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Does anyone have this record on Lamp? I would love to listen to it.
George G Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I think I have it, I don't remember. It's not a soul record, it's a midtempo 1960s garage 45 with lyrics that are more recited than sung, about being a teenager c. 1966/7 and how he was judged for having long hair and listening to rock music. It has nothing to do with racial discrimination. I think that this and the much better 45 by Squidd are the only rock 45s on the label
boba Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 i knew this 45, didn't know about a "squidd" 45 on the label, interesting
