Lee Charles — I Never Want To Lose My Sweet Thing / Girl You Turned Your Back On My Love (Bamboo) £12 SOLD!!!

Chicago legend. ‘Sweet Thing’ still sounds fresh. Flip finds Lee in more melancholy mood with a great soulful performance. What a fine singer. Who’s who of Chicago soul on writing/production credits.

Jeepers! GREAT 80s southern soul cut from one of the legends. Typical (brilliant!) malaco production with McKinley just oozing n dripping soul.. knocked out by this upon spinning again. Flip is slow n moody soulful n bluesy. Knockout.
